"I Fiati (Woodwinds & Brass)" are the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia master courses for woodwind and brass instrumentalists who have degree diplomas and outstanding performance skills.
 
The courses are taught by the Principals of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Orchestra.
 
Each course lasts one year. Following regular course attendance, a certificate of attendance signed by the Accademia President will be issued at the course conclusion.

TROMBONE: Andrea Conti

Please note: the terms for enrolment to the Trombone course will be re-opened; the new dates will be published in the coming period

Entrance examinations (Auditorium Parco della Musica)
 
 
Clarinet Monday, 10 October, at 9:00
Trombone
Horn and Bassoon Wednesday 19 October, at 9:00
Flute Thursday 20 October, at 9:00
Trumpet Tuesday 25 October, at 9:00
Oboe Friday 28 October, at 9:00
 
Requirements for admission.
The courses are open to both Italians and foreign citizens of any nationality who meet the following requirements:
 
- possession of a traditional conservatory diploma (old system) or a first or a second level degree earned in the discipline for which they are applying. If the degree was obtained abroad, it will be considered valid if it has been declared equivalent to a Conservatory diploma; it is the responsibility of any student admitted to a course to obtain the equivalence of the foreign qualification, pursuant to applicable Italian laws;
 
- age not exceeding 30 years;

Exceptions to these requirements may be permitted only in exceptional cases, in the case of special, recognized artistic qualities and subject to the evaluation and approval of both the teacher and the President of the Accademia.
 
Candidates who meet the above requirements will be admitted to courses as regular students, provided they have passed the entrance examination. The courses are open to the enrollment of auditors, upon presentation of an appropriate academic/artistic CV and subject to the approval of the course instructor.
 
The Academy reserves the right to cancel any of the courses should the minimum number of students, set at 5, not be reached.
