Listening to the Ninth Symphony by Beethoven is always a matchless journey into the heart and mind, a unique experience, and you can even hear the Accademia di Santa Cecilia Orchestra perform Symphonies No. 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 as well. By all odds, Beethoven at his best!
For the Ninth, the Orchestra will be joined onstage by the Santa Cecilia Chorus directed by Ciro Visco.
On the podium once more, youthful conductor Carlo Rizzari, assistant to Sir Antonio Pappano, who can boast numerous successes of his own in both the symphonic and operatic camps.
